I found the hotel to be very clean and had a comfy bed. The staff was excellent and accommodating, helping me with language barriers and ensuring a smooth arrival. The location is fantastic, with a lovely 20-minute walk along the River Charente to the city center and nearby parking available, which was a bonus.
