The cozy 2-star Royal Hotel Stornoway is situated in a touristic area of Stornoway, 1.3 miles from Steinacleit Stone Circle and only 9 minutes' walk from the Baronial mansion "Lews Castle". Featuring a lounge bar, a shared lounge and various recreational opportunities, the traditional hotel is within easy walking distance of Stornoway Harbour.

The location offered stunning views of the water, and dining at the bar followed by dinner in the Boat Shed restaurant was an absolute delight. The breakfast served in the dining room was also exceptional.
