The hotel was spotless and well-equipped. The fridge in the room with fresh milk was a great touch. Its location was perfect, right in the middle of the village and close to Hadrian Wall sites.

The ground coffee and fresh milk in the fridge were thoughtful touches, and the shower pressure was excellent after a day of cycling. Located right in the heart of the village, we enjoyed easy access to local shops and eateries, which really added to our experience. The hosts, who operated the post office next door, were incredibly accommodating and made our check-in seamless.
