Its location is perfect for hikers, as it’s right next to the little steam railway station, which served as an excellent starting point for my Scafell Pike adventure. The staff were friendly and attentive, enhancing the cozy atmosphere, while the cleanliness throughout the property was impressive. After a long day of exploring, I relished the delicious and diverse food options available in the pub, making each meal another highlight of my experience.
