the friendly staff made us feel right at home, offering helpful recommendations for nearby restaurants and ensuring that we had everything we needed. The location was ideal, nestled alongside a charming yet narrow main street and just a short drive from stunning ferry access.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The location was ideal, with stunning views and close proximity to Hill Top and Esthwaite Water. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional, with plenty of delicious options. Robert and Helen were fantastic hosts, making me feel welcomed and at home.

The location is idyllic, nestled next to a delightful pub that served great food and was conveniently close to the Beatrix Potter Museum. The breakfast was simply outstanding, beautifully presented, and filling, ensuring that every morning started off perfectly.

The staff, especially Robert and Helen, were incredibly welcoming, ensuring that my experience was enjoyable and stress-free. The picturesque location, just a short drive from Hill Top Farm and next to a lovely pub serving fantastic fish and chips, made exploring the area so convenient.
