I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere at this traditional pub, which is perfectly located near the cricket green. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, making my stay even more enjoyable. The extensive breakfast menu was a highlight, offering delicious options that catered to various tastes. I appreciated the comfortable room, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring the area.

The breakfast options were delightful, and the evening menu offered a great selection of delicious, home-cooked meals. Cleanness was clearly a priority, with our spacious room and huge bathroom met all our needs perfectly. The location was also fantastic, situated in a lovely traditional pub setting that added to the overall ambiance.

The staff were incredibly attentive, especially Dan, who guided us with meal times and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast cooked to order by Ali was delicious and fresh, plus the historic building added to our overall experience.
