The cleanliness was impeccable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel truly welcomed. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety that fueled my days of exploration in the beautiful surroundings. The hotel facilities were top-notch, offering a perfect blend of comfort and convenience.

We loved the hotel's location just on the SE shore of Derwent Water, which allowed us easy access to beautiful walks right from the doorstep, and the dog-friendly atmosphere was a huge plus for us. The breakfast was delightful, especially the full English with perfectly poached eggs, and we enjoyed watching small birds at the feeders outside the dining area, adding a lovely touch to our mornings. The staff were incredibly accommodating, offering us a room upgrade with a view at no extra cost.
