the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean, and I appreciated the comfortable bed after a long journey. Breakfast was included, and the food at the bar was delicious, especially the homemade pie. The location is convenient for those traveling, as it’s just off the motorway but still quiet.

We had a wonderful stay, appreciating the cleanliness of our spacious room and the lovely grounds perfect for weddings. The staff were friendly and accommodating, enhancing our dining experience with a delicious evening meal at the bar. Breakfast was also enjoyable and set us up nicely for our onward journey, while parking was conveniently available nearby.

It was conveniently close to the M74, yet nestled in attractive renovated farm buildings, giving it a unique ambiance. The staff, especially Margaret who filled in for the bar manager, were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and we loved the delicious breakfast each morning.
