Set in the heart of Alfriston, Wingrove House is a charming 19th-century boutique villa that offers a delightful blend of traditional elegance and modern comfort. Built in the 1860s with a classic colonial design, this hidden gem features a picturesque veranda that provides splendid views of the lush, lawned gardens and the majestic Parish Church, often referred to as the "Cathedral of the Downs". Its ideal location allows guests to explore both the serene village green and the breathtaking South Downs countryside.

The Standard Double Room showcases artful decor, adorned with original exposed wooden beams and a spacious super king-size bed, all designed to ensure a cozy atmosphere. Each room is thoughtfully equipped with essential amenities including a walk-in shower, complimentary toiletries, and a flat-screen TV. The unique layouts differ from one another, providing guests a distinct experience, whether they opt for a room with a tranquil garden view or one that offers serene country vistas.

Dining at Wingrove House is a truly delightful affair. Guests can indulge in a buffet breakfast featuring fresh fruit, warm croissants, and a selection of hot dishes, including a vegetarian full English complemented by grilled halloumi. The Wingrove Restaurant, with its bright ambiance and beautiful scenery, invites patrons to unwind on the outdoor terrace, perfect for enjoying dinner or drinks on warm summer evenings. A £35 allowance per person on the seasonal dinner menu ensures an exquisite culinary experience.

This charming villa incorporates a relaxed atmosphere with an open fire in the lounge area during colder months, complemented by books to peruse and board games for added amusement. The attentive staff at Wingrove House are dedicated to enhancing the guest experience, providing exclusive offers that cannot be found elsewhere.

With its prime setting, Wingrove House is just a few minutes away from a variety of local shops, restaurants, and charming pubs, allowing guests to immerse themselves in village life. For those desiring even more exploration, renowned attractions like the Glyndebourne Opera House are conveniently located within a short distance. Transport links are efficient, with Berwick station only three miles away, connecting guests to Brighton in a mere 30 minutes, while London Gatwick Airport is about one hour's drive away, making travel to this idyllic destination seamless.
