We loved the unique character of the hotel, as it offered a picturesque location just across the river with stunning views. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the stylish decor made for a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. The hosts were friendly and respectful, giving us space to enjoy our stay while also providing helpful local tips. We also appreciated the selection of books featuring NZ authors, perfect for unwinding by the river.

I had a lovely stay at this unique hotel, which was clean and stylishly decorated with attention to detail. The location was fantastic, right by the river, overlooking a garden filled with native trees and birds. I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere while relaxing with a good book, and the lovely little touch of biscuits and coffee made it even better.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The location was fantastic, with beautiful views overlooking the river and tranquil gardens. The place was spotless, and I appreciated the high ceilings and lovely decor. It was great to have easy access to walking trails and the nearby cycle path. The staff were friendly and provided helpful tips, including picking fresh oranges from the orchard.
