The Country View Suite offered stunning views of Myanmar and Laos shrouded in mist. The staff were friendly and attentive. I enjoyed feeding the elephants, 'Da' and 'Pompoi', with bamboo and sugar cane. Breakfast was varied and delicious, setting a perfect tone for my day.
