The hotel's location in a quiet neighborhood near Northwestern University makes it a perfect choice for visiting parents and school drop-off. We loved that it is within walking distance to Evanston's center and close to shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and the beds were comfortable.

We loved the comfortable and appealing lobby with rocking chairs and little tables/chairs. The music in the background, playing great 70's, 80's, and 90's hits, created a fantastic atmosphere. The staff was super friendly and helpful, giving excellent recommendations for dinner. The room was quite spacious, thanks to the option to upgrade via email. Having a little refrigerator in the closet, iron, and ironing board was convenient. The mattress and pillows were incredibly comfortable, providing the best rest we've had in years. Additionally, the location in a beautiful neighborhood, just two blocks away from Whole Foods and Lake Michigan, was fantastic.

I absolutely loved the charm and old-world feel of the hotel. It had a lovely faded glory ambience that was a refreshing change from shiny, soulless places. The location was perfect for my visit to Northwestern University, as it was just a pleasant and easy walk away. The hotel was situated in a quiet neighborhood, yet close to everything, including restaurants and shops. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfasts each morning were excellent. the hotel offered a unique and enjoyable experience.
